The story that started SEEDS.
SEEDS really started in the country of Estonia. I was there on a missionary tour and I started talking to another missionary from Australia about discipleship and follow up and we started getting excited about this part of the Christian walk. Later on that night I couldn’t sleep. It was during that night where I felt the Lord tell me to write a new set of materials and call it SEEDS.
When I thought about SEEDS I wanted to simplify the whole process and include an evangelistic portion to the material. So we wrote it in such a way that it could all fit on one piece of paper. That way it could be used by anyone, in any context, in any culture to evangelize to people. It has always been a missions project in my own heart.
We are now involved in over 13 countries and these are simply the ones that we know of! Truth is we are constantly running into people who have used the material on their own and we had no idea that it had reached their country or context. It has grown into a missions movement that all started with a passion and heart for discipleship and evangelism.
